Weekly Sketchbook #003

This week I focused mainly on faces and only bothered with full-body sketches if the shape was too interesting to ignore. It's been a lot of fun not getting hung up on capturing an entirely accurate likeness and simply let the features be a jumping point for creating interesting characters. I only get a fleeting glimpse of some of these people while they walk buy and I have to create a face solely based on that brief sighting. If I'm lucky, however, some people are still long enough to capture unique characteristics.
